Arts Programme

Y Touring runs a varied programme of participation work, led by Associate Director, Participation, Steve Byrne.

Over the last year we have run a photography project, Beautiful, where young people were given training in photography and curated an exhibition around body image using their photographs to explore what 'beautiful' means to them. The images were displayed in public squares around Bloomsbury during the Bloomsbury Festival, and a big mosaic of all the images was displayed at the Wellcome Collection. 

We have delivered digital media training in One KX, and a workshop for young people on developing apps for mobiles. We have also continued to run our extremely popular One Move 50+, a contemporary dance session for the over 50s, lead by an international choreographer.
