One KX is a 5 storey 10,000 sq ft former community and youth centre, originally constructed in 1931. It is located south of the Euston Road in King's Cross but ceased operating 2000, due to Health & Safety and Fire concerns. In October 2005 Central YMCA took over the lease and a massive fundraising campaign commenced, resulting in a £1.6 million refurbishment.
