YMCAfit's Instructability programme showcased on BBC One

YMCAfit’s innovative Instructability programme has featured in BBC One show Saints and Scroungers. The Instructability programme was developed by YMCAfit in association with Aspire as a way of training people living with disabilities who want to work in the health and fitness industry.

The TV show follows 21 year-old YMCAfit graduate John Craig. John is blind and because of his disability, was struggling to find work that satisfied his passion for sport and fitness. After many false starts, he eagerly applied to join the Instructability programme which he successfully completed last year. He is now working as a fitness instructor for Virgin Active.
