CYQ - Central YMCA Qualifications - is the UK’s leading health and fitness specific awarding body.
Over 240 centres deliver CYQ qualifications across the UK and internationally
CYQ develops and awards health and fitness qualifications that are delivered through a range of institutions, including private training providers, universities, colleges and schools.
There are over 240 centres delivering CYQ qualifications within the UK and internationally. CYQ offer over 35 recognised and respected qualifications, from introductory to advanced levels.
Beyond qualifications, CYQ is the official accreditation unit for the European Health and Fitness Association (EHFA). EHFA’s aim is to promote a recognisable pan-European benchmark of quality for the health and fitness industry.
CYQ is also the verifier of the Fitness Industry Association’s (FIA) Code of Practice and adjudicator of their prestigious FLAME Awards.
